John D. Grauer’s primary practice areas are business counseling, real estate, construction, civil litigation, arbitration, estate planning and probate.

John has been peer-recognized as an Ohio Superlawyer - Rising Star in the area of real estate law on Superlawyers.com since 2020, an honor bestowed on no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state of Ohio.

John is a graduate of the Cleveland State University College of Law and from Denison University, magna cum laude.

John is both a zealous advocate for his clients and solution-oriented. He has extensive experience in the court room and also with alternative dispute resolution.

John serves on the Executive Board of the Board of Directors for the Cleveland State University College of Law Alumni Association and is an active member of the West Shore Bar Association and Justinian Forum.

John also enjoys presenting continuing legal education classes with an emphasis on real estate and construction topics.

Aside from work, John is passionate about Cleveland sports teams, live music and traveling with his wife, Kathryn, and daughter, Cora Linda Grauer.
